Father, I worship and praise you today. I give my heart and my day to you today. I commit my way to You and roll my works upon You. Fill me a afresh today with the Holy Spirit. I yield and surrender my heart to the Holy Spirit today to guide, direct, and fill me with wisdom. Your word is alive and strong in me. I apply Your victory today in every area of my life. I walk in Your blessing that empowers and enriches me. I walk in Your blessing that I can bless others.
Today, I open my heart to hear Your voice. I lean into Your voice to my spirit. Thank you, Lord for opening the eyes of my understanding and a wise discerning heart. Thank you, Lord for what Jesus did on the cross for me, having shed His blood that I am cleansed from sin, and that I am raised up in newness of life.
I walk and live in newness of life today!
Invite the Lord to enter your sleep.
He speaks to us during the night.
Job 33:15-18 MSG
God always answers, one way or another,
even when people don’t recognize his presence.
15-18 “In a dream, for instance, a vision at night,
when men and women are deep in sleep,
fast asleep in their beds—
God opens their ears
and impresses them with warnings
To turn them back from something bad they’re planning,
from some reckless choice,
And keep them from an early grave,
from the river of no return.
The wise counsel God gives when I’m awake
is confirmed by my sleeping heart.
Day and night I’ll stick with God;
I’ve got a good thing going and I’m not letting go.
Though you probe my heart,
though you examine me at night and test me,
you will find that I have planned no evil;
my mouth has not transgressed.
1-2 So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in your life.
